Glencliff Supply Lists

Kindergarten Supply List

  • 3 boxes of tissues 
  • 1 bottle of Elmer’s white glue 
  • 3 large Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 2 packages of Crayola classic broad markers 8ct or larger
  • 2 packages of Crayola classic thin markers 8ct or larger
  • 1 package of Crayola Twistable crayons
  • 1 plastic folder
  • 1 pair of headphones (not buds) labeled and removed from packaging
  • 2 black Expo dry erase markers (bullet tip if possible)
  • 2 black Papermate flair tip pens 

Optional items we use throughout the year: 

  • Clorox disinfecting wipes     
  • Bottles of hand sanitizer     
  • Baby wipes 
  • Gallon, quart, and sandwich bag size Ziploc bags

First Grade Supply List

  • Fat tipped washable markers (classic colors)
  • 1 packages of pencils with erasers (sharpened)
  • Box of Twistable colored pencils
  • 3 BIG glue sticks
  • Box of crayons (Twistables last longer)
  • 2 Papermate black felt tip markers
  • 1 pack of Expo Dry Erase Markers
  • Pair of scissors
  • Pencil box (plastic 8” x 5” size works best)
  • 1⁄2 inch white view binder
  • 50 letter size sheet protectors (Put in binder)

Optional items we use throughout the year that would be helpful to have:

  • Highlighter
  • Wet wipes for surfaces
  • Wet wipes for students
  • Boxes of tissues
  • Sandwich, quart or gallon slider baggies

Second Grade Supply List

Please set up your child’s pencil boxes to make it easier for us on the first day of school.  Label the items in their pencil box.

Pencil Box 1:

  • 16 or 24 count crayons
  • Colored pencils
  • 1 black fine point Sharpie marker
  • 1 black felt tip pen
  • 2 jumbo glue sticks

Pencil Box 2:

  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • 4 black dry erase markers
  • Eraser or sock for whiteboard
  • 24 Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened if possible)
  • Eraser(s)
  • Fiskars scissors (labeled)

Other supplies needed:

  • 1 pk. of 3”X 3” yellow post-it notes
  • 1 pack of markers
  • 1 composition notebook (wide ruled)
  • 4 2-pocket folders (red, blue, and yellow-all labeled with child’s name)
  • Clipboard (labeled with name)
  • 2 plastic pencil boxes-8 in.X 5 in. works best (No pouches, please)
  • Headphones

The following are optional, but greatly appreciated!

  • Box of Kleenex
  • Wipes
  • Hand Sanitizer

Third Grade Supply List

These are the supplies you will need for school. Please bring your supplies on the first day of school. Please do NOT label anything, as some supplies are shared in the classroom for easier access. As the year goes on, we will let you know when we are running low on certain supplies. Please stick to the number of items provided (crayons/markers) as they fit best in the pencil boxes. Not all supplies will be kept in the pencil box.

  • 24 Ticonderoga Pencils (Ticonderoga sharpen the best! Thanks.)
  • 24 Crayons
  • Washable Markers (Assorted 10 pack)
  • 1 Pencil Box Standard Size (Measures 8-3/8 x 5-5/8 x 2-1/2 inches)
    • This size is important due to storage constraints in the classroom
  • 1 Pair of scissors
  • 2 Glue Sticks
  • 4 Plastic Folders  (red,blue,yellow,green)
  • 1 Composition Notebook 
  • 2 Single Packages of Post-It Notes
  • 2 Highlighters any color
  • 2 Black Sharpies
  • Headphones (with name on it)
  • 4 Black Expo Dry erase markers (Bullet Tip) 
  • Tissues

We are accepting donations for the following:

  • Gallon Ziploc bags (if your last name begins with A-M)
  • Wipes (if your last name begins with N-Z)

Fourth Grade Supply List

Please bring all the supplies you can the first day of school. As the year goes on, we will let you know when we are running low on certain supplies. Please stick to the number of items provided (crayons/markers) as they fit best in the pencil boxes. 

  • 1 sturdy backpack
  • 1 pack colored pencils 
  • 24 Pencils (Ticonderoga work best and are highly recommended.  No mechanical pencils please).
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 Small manual pencil sharpener (with a shavings container)
  • 1 sturdy pencil pouch or box (not too large)
  • 4 sturdy folders
    • 1 red
    • 1 blue
    • 1 green
    • 1 “design” of your choice
  • 2 composition notebooks (varying color or design)
  • 2 boxes of tissues
  • 1 container of Lysol or Clorox disinfecting wipes
  • 1 pair of headphones labeled with your name
  • 1 eraser

Last Name A-M

  • Sandwich-sized baggies
  • Glue sticks (2)
  • 2 Sharpies
  • Roll of scotch tape

Last Name N-Z

  • Gallon-sized baggies
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • 1 package of Post-it notes
  • 1 pack of dry-erase markers

Please don’t send in additional supplies or more than what you need as you only have so much space.  Please know some supplies may be shared.

*Glencliff Folders and Assignment Planners are used as take home supplies and are free at the beginning of the school year.

Fifth Grade Supply List

Required Supplies:

  • 4 composition notebooks
  • 1 pencil case or box
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 3 glue sticks
  • Assortment of crayons/markers/colored pencils
  • 1 highlighter
  • 1 pack of Post-It notes (3×3 size)
  • 4 folders (one yellow, one red, one blue, one of your choice)
  • 1 clipboard
  • 3 pink erasers or pencil cap erasers
  • Pocket size thesaurus and dictionary
  • Lots of pencils (sharpened, no mechanical)
  • 1 package of index cards
  • 1 pair of headphones
