Kindergarten Supply List

  • A large backpack
  • 1 – 1 inch white 3-ring Clear View Binder
  • 1 – 2 pocket folder (plastic)
  • 1 Black & White Marble Composition Notebook
  • 4 Large Elmer’s Glue Stick
  • 2- Black Sharpie Permanent Markers (Fine Point)
  • 1 pack (25 ct) Crayola Washable Super Tip Markers (No Silly Scents or Fun Effects please!)
  • 1 pack (24 ct) Crayola Twistable Crayons
  • 1 set of headphones (To remain In school. Please no earbuds.)
  • 1 container of Clorox wipes

Please bring these supplies to kindergarten orientation in September.

Please label your child’s backpack with his/her name. Other supplies need not be labeled, as they will be shared with the class.

First Grade Supply List

Below is the Rosendale First Grade Supply List. This list contains basic learning tools that students will use in school as personal learning supply items. Thought went into keeping the list simple and at a minimum cost understanding the challenging economic situations that many members of our school and community are experiencing.

  • A backpack that fits your child
  • 2 boxes of # 2 pencils, sharpened
  • 6 glue sticks
  • 1 child-size scissors
  • 1 pack of crayons
  • 1 pack of colored pencils (Crayola twistable are preferred but not required)
  • 1 pink eraser
  • 1 pack of washable markers
  • 1 headphone set
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 2 packs of thin, black, dry erase markers
  • Dry eraser (or sock)
  • Water bottle (with child’s name)
  • 2 packages of yellow 3” x 3” post-its

Optional Supplies:

  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer (to be shared)
  • 1 container of cleaning wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc.)

Second Grade Supply List

  • 4 pack of Post-It Notes 3×3 in.
  • 1 clipboard ( label with name)
  • 3 sturdy pocket folders (plain red, blue and yellow. No prongs)
  • 1 pair of headphones
  • 1 pair child size scissors
  • 24 #2 pencils. (Specialty wrapped pencils don’t sharpen well)
  • 2 pink chunk erasers
  • 1 storage box (approximately 8″x5”)
  • 1 – 4 pack small Elmer’s glue sticks
  • 2 packs of black fine tip dry erase markers
  • 10 count Crayola markers
  • 12 count pack colored pencils
  • 24 count Crayola Twistable Crayons
  • 2 pack Sharpie, Fine Point permanent markers
  • 2 pack Sharpie Ultra Fine Point permanent markers

    Fifth Grade Supply List

    Please put your name on folders, and notebooks, and put pencils, colored pencils, Sharpies, glue sticks, tape, scissors, etc. in the pencil box. Put the folders and paper in the 3-ring binder.

    Required Supplies:

    • Sturdy 3-ring binder (1.5 or 2 inch size)
    • 4 2-pocket folders with three holes- It’s best if they are different colors or designs.
      • Label them as follows: Math; Reading/Writing; Science/Social Studies; Other
    • 1 package 3-hole punched lined loose-leaf paper (put some in the 3-ring binder and leave the rest at home until needed)
    • 1 spiral notebook for math (100 or more sheets is ideal)
    • 2 composition notebooks (you may want them to have different colors or designs)
      • Label one Science/Social Studies and one ELA
    • 2 rolls clear tape
      • Bring one to school and leave one at home until needed)
    • Colored pencils – 24 count is ideal.
      • Please sharpen before bringing to school.
    • 1 pair of scissors
    • Small personal pencil sharpener with shavings catcher
    • Sharpened pencils – 12 to 24 count
    • Blue or black pens – 2 to 3
    • 2 glue sticks
    • 1 to 2 highlighters
    • 2 very fine, slim pointed black permanent markers (ie. Sharpie)
    • Post-It type notes – NOT Super Sticky, please (4 pads – bring 2 to school and leave the rest at home until needed)
