Welcoming new leaders to the district

As we officially begin a new school year, Niskayuna CSD has several leadership and staffing changes. These individuals bring a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives and a shared commitment to academic excellence. Please meet the newest members of our Niskayuna team.

Michael Kloczko, Director of Science and Engineering Technology

We are pleased to announce that Michael Kloczko has been selected as our new Director of Science and Engineering Technology. Michael brings eight years of experience as a Science Teacher Leader at Cohoes High School, where he led the transition to New York State Science Learning Standards, successfully implemented college credit-bearing courses and AP programs, and developed specialized courses to ensure equitable access to science education for all students. He holds a Master of Science in Geology from West Virginia University and certifications as both a School Building Leader and School District Leader. Michael’s proven track record in curriculum development, budget management, and teacher mentorship, combined with his passion for educational equity and student success, makes him an excellent fit for leading our STEM programs forward.

Danielle Vincent, NHS Assistant Principal

Danielle Vincent will be joining the high school administration team as Assistant Principal at NHS. Danielle brings nearly 20 years of classroom experience as a Spanish teacher, including five years here at Niskayuna High School where she has served as a mentor to new teachers and contributed to our school community through her work as a choreographer for our musical productions. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Science in Secondary Education, and is completing her School Building Leader Certificate of Advanced Study through SUNY Plattsburgh this August. Her unique combination of extensive classroom experience, business administration background, strong leadership and organizational skills, and deep commitment to creating positive learning environments for all students makes her exceptionally well-prepared to support our school operations and educational mission.

Amy Isenhart, Director of Professional Learning and Continuing Education

We are excited to announce that Amy Isenhart will be joining our administrative team as our new Director of Professional Learning and Continuing Education. Amy brings 18 years of educational experience, including her current role where she has facilitated more than 100 hours of professional development.
