A big congratulations to two Niskayuna science bowl teams on winning the top prize at the National Science Bowl Regional Qualifiers on Saturday, March 2.
Led by Mrs. Elizabeth Kenny, High School team members Arjun Rangarajan, Mihir Kulkarni, Tarun Jacob, Daniel Yang, and Aarush Iyengar earned 1st place in the competition.
The VA team, which includes Tejas Jacob, Sean Sung, Rohith Kulkarni, Daphne Pillai, and Ruchir Bollapragada, also won the top spot.
The Science Bowl challenges teams in a battle of fast-paced knowledge and calculations in both science and math.
The teams will now move on to Nationals at the end of April. We wish them the best as they move on to the next level!
