Engaging with our stakeholders on critical topics

During the winter of 2019, the district began using the Thoughtexchange platform in order gather the perspectives of all stakeholders on critical issues and topics. This online community engagement tool allows people to share thoughts on important issues at their convenience, rate the thoughts of others using  a star system, and learn more about various perspectives in the community. The goal is to give the district a better understanding of community sentiment to help inform decision-making.

Capital Project Planning: May/June 2019

Question: What is important for us to consider as we explore potentially changing the high school start time/end time?

Themes included: Better for learning, research and overall benefits, sleep, impact on extracurriculars and athletics, and transportation and the impact on all levels.
