Niskayuna High School’s five National Merit Semifinalists were recognized for their accomplishments by the Board of Education and district leadership on Dec. 13. The event included a performance by the middle school jazz band.
National Merit Scholarship and National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalists are among the top high school seniors in the country based on their scores on the PSAT administered in the fall of 2021. Nationwide, fewer than 1 percent of high school seniors are named National Merit Semifinalists.
