On Tuesday, Jan., 25, Niskayuna High School students and staff paid tribute to teaching assistant, Leah White who passed away on December 29, 2021. Leah worked as a teaching assistant at Van Antwerp Middle School and Niskayuna High School for over 20 years. She loved her work with students and made a tremendous impact on those who knew her. Students and staff honored her by wearing festive colors, fun hats, socks and shoes and displaying her favorite items. She especially loved snowmen, the color pink, Vera Bradley designs. Niskayuna High School feels her loss and celebrates her many contributions to the school and community.
