Members of the Niskayuna High School administration hosted their 32nd Annual Memorial Day Service Thursday, May 22, 2025.
In addition to recognizing several special guests in attendance who served in various branches of the military, the service also recognized all 54 alumni veterans who have passed.
Graduating seniors planning to go into branches of the military were also presented with certificates honoring their commitments to serving our country.
Those students include:
- Cody Hafensteiner, Enlistment int the United States Air Force
- Ian Jacques, Appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point
- Cooper Jones, United States Navy ROTC at Penn State University
- Dillon Licht, Appointment to the United State Military Academy at West Point
- Abigail Lunetta, Appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy
- Siphia Lyons, Enlistment into the United States Air Force
- Gianna-Marie Walker, Enlistment into the United States Navy
- Nathan Wuttke, Appointment to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis
There were also special performances by students in Bel Canto Voices under the direction of Mrs. Christina Pizzino-Catalano and Concert Band under the direction of Mr. Phil Pandori.
