Niskayuna High School’s Fed Challenge team has earned recognition by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for the second year in a row.
The competition challenges students to work as a team and develop skills in research, data literacy and analytical writing. Judges select submissions for publication in the Journal of Future Economists.
The winning research paper, titled “Generous Electric: How General Electric’s Globalization Lights and Hauls the World,” was authored by Anina Ghosal, Lucy Hart, and Raghav Raj, and addresses the economics of globalization, the theme of the 2022-23 competition.
