In recognition of National Special Education Day on December 2, students across the district are participating in an art project highlighting how each student’s unique contributions are part of our community fabric. The art, modeled after the work of internationally-recognized street artist Thank You X, features student-designed cubes that will become part of a mural to be showcased at the Voices & Choices: DEI in the Art Room show on Jan. 10. from 6 to 7 p.m. at NHS.
The project is a collaboration between Niskayuna Special Education PTA, the Niskayuna Central School District Art & Design Department and C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studio.
