Do you love to build, design, or imagine? The upcoming Creative Career Showcase is a great opportunity to see how interests like LEGO building, music, gaming, writing, and more can grow into real-world careers. Explore what’s possible on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Niskayuna High School in F Hall, C Hall, and D Hall.
The event is open to students, families, and community members. It’s meant to support those at all stages, from early exploration to active planning for college and beyond. Parents and guardians will learn more about how creative interests connect to college programs, technical training, and careers after high school.
Event highlights:
-
- College representatives will share information about creative majors, programs, and postsecondary pathways.
- Creative professionals will host tables to discuss their careers, education, and real-world experiences.
- Creative career speaker sessions will be offered throughout the night, highlighting different fields and career journeys.
- Ask questions, network, and explore options in an informal and welcoming environment.
A snow date is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15.
