Every one of the Niskayuna High School fall varsity teams are being recognized for their academic and athletic achievements! The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) recently recognized 14 of the 14 Niskayuna fall 2025 varsity sports teams for academic excellence.
The Scholar-Athlete team distinction was awarded to each of Niskayuna’s fall teams because 75% or more of the roster earned an average of 90% or higher during the marking period. Qualifying teams will receive certificates and individual students will be awarded pins to mark their achievements.
Across the state, a total of 4,148 teams and 53,814 individual student-athletes earned the distinction this fall.
