The Niskayuna Teachers’ Association provides approximately a dozen awards to graduating seniors. The awards range from $350 to more than a $1,000. These are one-time awards.
Applicants are asked to provide information about their participation in school-related and community activities and what specific roles they played in these activities. There is an essay required that describes an obstacle or
challenge that you have overcome and how that experience strengthened your character. Applicants are also asked to describe any relevant extenuating circumstances that may assist the committee in evaluating your application.
