What School Configuration Options are being discussed?

Throughout the course of the 2018-19 school year, an outside consultant worked with the Capital Project Community Advisory Committee to develop a program delivery study based on: The district’s program vision, projected enrollment growth for the coming years, and little existing capacity in the schools. The study identifies six school configuration scenarios – referring potentially changing the grade levels served by district schools.

    5 Elementary PreK-5
  • 2 Middle Schools 6-8

Scenario B

  • Five PreK-4 Schools
  • Grades 5-6 at VA
  • Grades 7-8 at Iroquois
  • District Office @ Hillside Avenue Bus Garage

Scenario C

  • Five PreK-3 Schools
  • Grades 4-6 at VA
  • Grades 7-8 at Iroquois

  • Four K-4 Schools
  • Grades 5-6 at VA
