  • Tickets cost $100 per person, tax included. Checks are to be made payable to the NHS Class of 2024. Price of ticket includes admission to the After Prom.

Please note that prom attendees must arrive at the Marriott by 8 p.m. and cannot leave until 10 p.m. unless a parent is contacted by phone and provides permission for the student to be allowed to leave early.

After Prom information

The After Prom, sponsored by the PTO, begins at 11:30 p.m. and ends at 2:30 a.m. It takes place at the High School. Students attending the After Prom will enter the high school through Door #10 (near the Old Café). Students must arrive by 12:30 a.m. and cannot leave until 1:30 a.m. without a call to parents.

Please note: Parents may request to be called if their student does not attend the After Prom and was expected to do so, by completing the section on the Safety Contract Form on ParentSquare.

The After Prom Committee has done a magnificent job of planning fun activities for the attendees. They include: Relay races, noodle hockey, carnival games, karaoke, a Hypnotist Show, Board games, a Texas Hold’em competition and a Chill Zone. Plus, of course, there will be plenty of food to be enjoyed! We strongly encourage all of the Prom goers to complete their evening with a safe and fun-filled environment here, at the After Prom!

Walk-In information

The Walk-in takes place in the high school auditorium from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All attendees are invited to participate at the walk-in, although there is no obligation to do so. Prom goers are asked to arrive from the Nott Street Entrance and be dropped off by the door that leads to E-Hall, near the Science Dept. Office. This is door #44. After the walk-in, you will exit the high school near the New Café and return to your vehicle near door #42.

All parents and visitors are asked to arrive at the high school from the Balltown Road entrance and enter the building through door #1.

We will live stream the walk-in and record it. The stream will then be available for later viewing on our YouTube channel. A photographer from Upstate Images will be at the high school to take a formal still photo of each individual. There will also be a photographer taking candid shots at the prom. An opportunity to purchase these photos will be made available.

Bus available to students needing transportation to the prom and back

The school district is providing a school bus to transport prom goers who need transportation to the prom and back. The bus will leave from the area near the New Café at about 6:45 p.m. to transport students to the Albany Marriott. It will leave the Marriott at 11 p.m. and return the students to the high school. The drop off point will be in the front circle near door #1.

Students must sign-up to use this service at the time of purchasing their ticket. Only those who sign up will be allowed on the bus. For safety purposes and attendance control, if you sign up to use the bus, you must use it throughout the evening.

N-CAP Prom Forum Presentation

This informational event, sponsored by N-CAP, will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in the Little Theater from 7 to 9 p.m. All Prom attendees and their parents are invited to attend. Brief presentations will be given by our Chief of Police, one of our school social workers, and members of the administration regarding safety and protocol issues. N-CAP plans to live stream this meeting.
