In accordance with state law, the district may offer instruction in the safe and lawful operation of motor vehicles, including instruction regarding the effects of drug and alcohol use, including the hazards of driving while impaired or intoxicated; the penalties for alcohol-related motor vehicle violations; and the medical, biological and physiological effects of the consumption of alcohol and their impact on the operation of a motor vehicle.
