We have a variety of foreign exchange programs for students at Niskayuna.
Germany
Our partner school in Germany is called the Freiherr von Stein Gymnasium. It is located in the city of Hamm in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen. This German exchange has been in existence for the past six years. This fall we are expecting a group of student and teacher guests from our German partner school.
France
In France, Niskayuna has a partnership with the Lycee Jules Fil in Carcassonne. Carcassonne is the most perfectly preserved medieval city in France. This French school exchange began last year. To get a glimpse of the sites of Carcassonne, you can visit the official Carcassonne website.
Spain
Almeria, Spain is the site of Niskayuna’s exchange program. AlmerÃa is located in the gorgeous Andalucia region in the southeastern coastal part of Spain. This Spanish language exchange with Colegio Agave began in October 2012. Students tour the beautiful cities of Toledo, Sevilla, Malaga & Madrid for a week in addition to another weeks homestay & school visit with their host siblings. Spanish classes look forward to visiting their partners in AlmerÃa, Spain in the spring.
