Even before the first official day of school, Niskayuna CSD welcomed 37 new instructional faculty members to the district in a two-day welcome session “New to Nisky.” The new staff members met district leaders, learned about the community, went on a bus tour of the district and took a group photo.
“Similarly to some of the other new teachers, I am really looking forward to working with students with diverse language backgrounds,” Craig ENL teacher Anne Ringuette said.
Ringuette is one of 37 new instructional faculty members joining the district this year. In addition, the district is hiring 40 support staff, including teaching assistants, security monitors, maintenance workers, nurses and other district personnel.
