The Niskayuna Central School District, established in 1953, will celebrate its 75th anniversary during the 2027-28 school year.
As we look toward this milestone anniversary, the district would like to begin planning for a diamond anniversary celebration. We’re excited to celebrate the history and tradition of our vibrant school district and its importance to the community.
To make this anniversary celebration special and memorable, we are establishing a group of interested volunteers to be considered for a 75th Anniversary Planning Committee as well as other volunteer roles. We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers that includes alumni, current students, family members, retirees, current faculty and staff as well as local community members to share their ideas, energy and memories.
Whether you remember chalkboards or smartboards, played on a championship team before the Blatnick Gym was named or are cheering on our teams today, your perspective is vital! The committee will help plan anniversary events and activities, organize historical displays, connect with alumni and ensure the celebration reflects the spirit of our whole community.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools, and we look forward to celebrating a year that’s been 75 years in the making together.
