Twenty nine dedicated Niskayuna employees were recognized for their 570 combined years of service to the district at the district’s June 16 board of education meeting.
At the celebration, each retiree was presented with a rose and a piece of personalized artwork as their principal or supervisor shared reflections on each of their successful careers. Retirees successfully completing 25 or 30 years of service to the district were also presented with commemorative pins. Toni Bisio was recognized for 25 years with the district, while Maureen Abrams and Mary Aiello-Cloutier were both honored for their 30-year careers. Finally, all of the retirees participated in a long-standing Niskayuna tradition of signing the record book to mark their time in the district and their retirement.
