Senior Gala, BBQ, Graduation Rehearsal and Volunteer Information

The Senior Gala will take place on Friday, June 8 from 7- 11 p.m. at the Glen Sanders Mansion. Contracts for Safety must be secured and approved before one can attend. Contracts will be available at the Main Office Attendance Desk, the Counseling Center or it can be downloaded here. Gala tickets will be sold at Crossroads from 10:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. on May 21, June 1, 4, 6, and 7 as well as on June 5 from 2:45-3:45 p.m. The cost of a ticket is $50. Checks should be made payable to the Niskayuna High School PTO.

The Senior Barbecue will take place on Monday, June 18 from 12-3 p.m. at the high school, rain or shine.

Our seniors will be guests at the barbecue upon their return from graduation rehearsal at Proctors. They will also receive their cap and gown and tickets for graduation at this time. Seniors are reminded that all outstanding obligations must be satisfied before tickets and gowns are released. This includes media books/fines, athletic equipment, money owed to the cafeteria, detentions, etc. You also are reminded that every senior participating in graduation must attend the rehearsal unless excused by a written notice to Mr. Bianchi. Seniors are expected to be in the high school auditorium by 8:15 a.m. After a brief meeting, they will board buses to Proctors for the rehearsal.

*Parents: If you are providing food and/or beverage donations for the barbecue, they may be dropped off at the high school outside the new cafeteria entrance on Sunday, June 17 from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. The can also be dropped off on Monday, June 18 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the pool entrance to the school. A PTO parent will be there to receive your donation. Please sign-up here if you would like to donate and/or volunteer at the barbecue or the gala.
