COVID-19 and Our Plan for Health, Safety & Learning

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning is taking place through in-person, hybrid and all-remote formats as outlined in our Reopening Plan. The health and safety in the plan, including mask-wearing, social distancing and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting, remain fully in effect. We remain grateful to our public health partners and the 400-plus community members who comprised the Summer 2020 Reopening Task Force.

Precautions Remain Fully In Effect at School and on School Grounds (May 2021)

As many of the restrictions the state put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic change, we want to remind everyone that the state Department of Health has not changed health and safety protocols for schools. Masks continue to be required for all school students, staff and visitors at school and on the bus. This applies to fully vaccinated individuals. Please know that face coverings continue to be required outside as well, including at events such as athletic contests and end-of-year activities and ceremonies. These protocols are in place for all students, staff and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Should there be any changes in State Department of Health guidance specifically for schools, we will communicate that information as soon as possible.
