Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 19, as Niska-Day – the community celebration organized by the Niskayuna Community Action Program (N-CAP) – returns for a 37th year. This year’s Niska-Day theme is “Magic is in the air.”
The day will begin with a family fun run starting at Van Antwerp School, followed by the parade, which begins at 10 a.m. from St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church and will reach Niskayuna High School around 11:30 AM. At Craig School, there will be a food court, craft vendors, an information and a business tent, games and rides, and entertainment include magicians, clowns, pony rides, a rock climbing wall, face painting, a petting zoo, and much more. The evening concludes with a fireworks display at 9:15 pm.
