Health & Safety Precautions Remain in Effect

As you have likely seen, many of the restrictions the state put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic are changing. However, as the school year winds down, we want to remind you that the state Department of Health has not changed health and safety protocols for schools.

Masks continue to be required for all school students, staff and visitors at school and on the bus. This applies to fully vaccinated individuals. Please know that face coverings continue to be required outside as well, including at events such as athletic contests and end-of-year activities and ceremonies.

These protocols are in place for all students, staff and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.

As we look forward with the hope of a more “normal” school year next year, we are also committed to finishing this year strong. We are so grateful for your support and partnership in making this year the best it could possibly be for our students.

Should there be any changes in State Department of Health guidance specifically for schools, we will communicate that information as soon as possible.

Thank you again,

Cosimo Tangorra, Jr.
Superintendent of Schools
