Update: Federal Government Announces School Meals are Free Through 2020-21

Families still encouraged to apply for Free and Reduced Price Meals

To make sure children have access to meals during the pandemic, the United States Department of Agriculture has announced the extension of a waiver that results in school meals being available to all children at no charge for the entire 2020-21 school year. To receive a meal (breakfast or lunch) at no cost, students need to take the complete reimbursable meal (e.g. entree, fruit, vegetable, milk). Students purchasing snacks or beverages must have money on their K12PaymentCenter account in order to do so.

It remains important that families submit a Free and Reduced Price Meals application if they believe they qualify for the program. With the meals at no charge only going through Dec. 31, we want to be sure that all eligible families are enrolled in this program. Apply Online Here
