As our schools continue to focus on the areas of equity and diversity, consultants Athena Fliakos of The Good Brain Project and Christina Roberts of Head Heart Hands Consultant LLC have joined the district to help further that work throughout the remainder of this year.

Equity is the district’s commitment to ensuring that all students are able to fully access educational experiences and services in our schools regardless of their background. Christina and Athena will serve as a resource on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion and will focus on building bridges between faculty and staff, students and families in these areas.

They will be in the district on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They will maintain office hours at the high school and be spending time in schools. They are here to help at all levels, and can be reached at afliakos@niskyschools.org and cfarinacci-roberts@niskyschools.org.
