What are your after school plans?
I will be attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. As of now, my major is undecided.

Is there a particular moment or memory that stands out for you during your time at Niskayuna High School?
A moment of high school that stands out to me was being in lockdown with my English class until 8 p.m.

How would friends and acquaintances describe you?
I believe that others would describe me as hard-working and cheerful.

I am told you are a fantastic lacrosse player, what was your favorite part of lacrosse? What drew you to the sport? Do you continue to pursue it after high school?
My favorite part of lacrosse were our games played at Union College on the turf against top-ranked teams. Even if we didn’t win, I enjoyed the tough competition and the experience I received from it. I was drawn to the sport through scholarship opportunities and friends on the team. I have been afforded the opportunity by God to continue my lacrosse career at West Point, completing a long time goal of playing high ranked Division 1 lacrosse.

Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of? Winning the scholar-athlete award was an achievement I was most proud of as academics are just as important to me as athletics.

What was your favorite thing about high school? Did you have a favorite subject?
My favorite part of high school was seeing my grades improve in a direct relationship with increased efforts toward my studies.  My favorite subject is physics.

Were you a part of any sports, extracurricular activities, clubs, etc.?
I was on the lacrosse team and devoted all of my after school time to the program.

If you could give your freshman self advice, what would it be?
My advice to my freshman self would be to go to my teachers for extra help before you realize that you need it.  This practice improved my grades greatly.

Where do you hope to see yourself in five years?
In five years I will be graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point.  At that time I will be entering the Army as a Second Lieutenant.  I don’t know where I will be stationed, but I won’t lie I’m praying for Hawaii.

What will you miss about high school?
I am going to miss all of my friends that I have known since elementary school and the feeling of walking through halls and knowing everybody that goes by. That is something that will be very different about college. Niskayuna is a great school that expects much from its students, which in turn prepares us for post-high school endeavors

What piece of content (TV show, YouTube channel, book, etc.) do you think everyone should know about and that you recommend and why?
I recommend “The Office” which is a television series that everybody should watch. As for me, there is none greater!
