Board of Education Policy 6650: Internal Auditor

By law, no bill or claim present to the district can be paid unless it has been audited. The Board of Education delegates this responsibility through the appointment of an internal auditor for the district. The internal auditor shall serve at the pleasure of the Board.

The internal auditor is responsible for formally examining, allowing or rejecting all accounts, charges, claims or demands against the school district.
