Please note that if there is a need for a snow day tomorrow or in the near future, this will be a traditional snow day with no instruction for students. This applies to all in-person, hybrid and all-remote students, including the K-5 Virtual Academy.
The district will soon have fully phased in its 1:1 Chromebook program, with a device provided to every student K-12. At that point, having remote instruction on days when the weather makes in-person learning not possible will be an option.
Any snow days used from this point further may result in the need to schedule additional instructional days to meet the required number of days, which is why remote learning days are possible in the future. This information will be communicated ahead of time.
Any time that there will not be in-person school due to the weather, this information will be communicated on the district website homepage, via email and text message, and to local media outlets.
