Annual Iroquois Read-a-thon is Friday, Jan. 5

On Friday, January 5th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Iroquois will be holding its annual Read-a-thon to raise money for the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne, NY. The Double “H” Hole in the Woods Ranch in the Adirondacks is holding its annual read-a-thon fundraiser this fall. Schools all across New York State are being asked to participate with a dual goal of raising community awareness of the camp’s mission and a monetary goal of $50,000. Last year, Iroquois students raised approximately $5,200 bringing Iroquois total to over $40,000 over the past ten years. What a huge success for Iroquois!

If your child is interested in participating or if you are interested in chaperoning this event, please reach out to Lynn Connors at or Michelle Bonczkowski at before Tuesday, January 2nd. More information about the Read-a-thon, including your permission slip and donation sheet can be found using the links below.

Students can also pick up a copy of these forms from their English language arts or reading teachers and in the Iroquois Main Office.
