December 6 Capital Project Vote

Voting Information


Polling hours and location

7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Niskayuna High School Orchestra Room (the same location as the May budget vote); Use the Balltown Road entrance to the school and follow signs for parking and voting. Please note the snow date of Dec. 8.


Who is eligible to vote?

You are eligible to vote if you are a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, and have been a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote. If you are not already registered to vote, you can register at the polls on Dec. 6. Although no pre-registration is required, personal identification may be requested at the polls. Questions? Absentee ballots

Absentee ballot are available from the District Office and will be issued upon request to residents who will be out of town or unable to vote at the polls due to illness or disability. Please call the district clerk at 377-4666, ext. 50712 to obtain an absentee ballot application. If you want an absentee ballot mailed to you, your absentee ballot application must be received by the District Clerk's office by Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. If you plan to pick up your absentee ballot, your application must be received by Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Completed absentee ballots must be received the District Office by 4 p.m. on the day of the vote, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016.
