Book Club! Our book this month is Okay
for Now by Gary D. Schmidt, the story of Doug
Swietek, a 14 year old in a new town with no friends, an
abusive father and a war-damaged older brother. It’s
only after he finds an ally in Lil Spicer that things
begin to look up. Together they find a safe haven at
the local library, learning about Audobon’s birds and
taking a wild adventure on a Broadway stage. Join us on
Monday, May 21 at 7 PM in the Media Center to
discuss this story of love, creativity and survival.

get this done!

your plans as soon as possible.
