Bus Stop Information/Restrictions
Except for kindergarten students who are picked
up and dropped off at home when reasonable, the
following criteria applies to bus stop walking
distances:
Elementary students:
up to 1/10th of a mile to a bus stop
Middle school students:
up to 2/10th of a mile to a bus stop
High school students:
up to 3/10th of a mile to a bus stop
Non-public school
students: depending on grades, non-public
school students would also adhere to the above
bus stop walking distances. However, since most
of these students are the only ones in their
neighborhood, they generally are picked up at
their homes anyway.
The streets
noted below have certain limitations as to how
pick-ups and drop-offs can be executed. Unless
noted below, it is understood that all
students can cross in front of the bus if
necessary.
