The NISKArt Gallery is sponsoring an Alumni Art
Invitational from January 14 to March 11 in celebration of the district's 50th
anniversary. Alumni interested in displaying their art are asked to contact Art Director

Swimming pool hours changed for Saturday,
November 1
Please note the following change in the Open Swim
hours at the high school's swimming pool: Open Swim hours on November 1 will be
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More pool info.
Two cases of pertussis (whooping cough)
confirmed at Niskayuna High School
Two students have been diagnosed with this
disease that affects the respiratory tract. It is unlikely that the disease was spread to
other students, but as a precaution informational letters were mailed to all parents and
put in staff mailboxes October 17.

Congratulations to Van Antwerp sixth-graders
who participated in a Read-A-thon on October 3
Forty students raised $2,250 for a camp for
critically ill children by reading Friday night after school. Good job students!
Thank you to everyone who attended the
Niskayuna High School Open House on Saturday, October 4
