Congratulations to six Niskayuna High School students, who have been selected from hundreds of applicants in 18 counties for the Empire State Youth Chorale. The chorale will perform the "Melodies of Christmas" at Proctor's Theater, performances that will be broadcast on WRGB Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The students are: David Baglow, Ben Golub, Jennifer Lefsyk, Claire Ligon, Leanne Merrill and Sarah Walroth. Congratulations!

graphic bullet Van Antwerp students enjoy reading, helping a good cause

In late September, 126 Van Antwerp Middle School students participated in a Readathon, raising $7,400 for the Double H Hole in the Woods camp (a camp for critically ill children).  Students also regularly volunteer at the camp, painting murals. Great job students!
