the Park"

The Craig Elementary School community recently came together for
a fun evening of sharing favorite poems during "Poetry in the
Park" on November 4. Above, Craig families and staff perform for
the crowd. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Craig Elementary School is hosting its annual
Ski/Sport Sale on Saturday, November 19 from 9 a.m.-noon.
(Drop off items to sell Friday night at 6:30 p.m.) The sale benefits Craig programs and activities.

Students selected for Empire State Youth Chorale
Congratulations to six Niskayuna High School
students, who have been selected from hundreds of applicants in 18 counties for the Empire
State Youth Chorale. The chorale will perform the "Melodies of Christmas" at
Proctor's Theater, performances that will be broadcast on WRGB Christmas Eve and Christmas
Day. The students are: David Baglow, Ben Golub, Jennifer Lefsyk, Claire Ligon, Leanne
Merrill and Sarah Walroth. Congratulations!

Van Antwerp students enjoy reading, helping a good cause

In late September, 126 Van Antwerp Middle School
students participated in a Readathon, raising $7,400 for the Double H Hole in the Woods
camp (a camp for critically ill children). Students also regularly volunteer at the
camp, painting murals. Great job students!
Craig hosts Poetry Night Friday,
November 4
Craig Elementary School families are invited to "Poetry in the Park" at the
