Niska-Day 2004: Niska-Day logo
N-CAP's annual community celebration slated for May 22

Scheduled for Saturday, May 22, the 23rd annual Niska-Day will celebrate the school district's 50th anniversary with the theme: "Celebrate 50 Years of Educational Excellence."

• 8 a.m. -- D.A.R.E. Fun Run registration

• 8:30-9:30 a.m. -- D.A.R.E. Fun Run

• 10 a.m. -- Parade begins at St. Helen's School, reaching Niskayuna High School about 11:30 a.m.

noon -- Opening Ceremonies at the main stage (Niskayuna High School)

all afternoon -- (at Niskayuna High School) -- food booths, craft vendors, information tent featuring local not-for-profit organizations, basketball contest, games for children, pony rides, petting zoo and lots of entertainers (see list below)

• 4-7 p.m. -- Giffy's BBQ (Niskayuna High School)

9:15 p.m. -- Fireworks
