Photo of students and adults involved in the VFW Voice of Democracy Competition.
High school students Siddharth Bansal (front, left) and Lisa D'Aniello (front, right) were recognized recently for participating in the Veterans of Foreign War's Annual Voice of Democracy Competition. To participate, students had to write and orally present an essay. Bansal also won first place at the local and district levels, and fourth at the state level. They were recognized by VFW Post 9132 Competition Chairman James Wilson (back, right). Also in the photo: Forensics Coach Chris Chadwick (back, left) and Principal John Rickert (back, middle).
