Niskayuna High School hosts Foreign Language Lip Sync Contest for charity

Back by popular demand for the third straight year – Niskayuna High School presents its annual Foreign Language Lip Sync Contest on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The event will benefit the Schenectady Food Pantry.
Eight student groups will perform their favorite songs in French, German, Punjabi, Korean and Spanish. Prizes will be awarded for best overall performance, best choreography, and most original or creative performance. Ten foreign language teachers, calling themselves the Von Trapp Family Singers + 3, will join together on stage at the contest for an impromptu performance.
Admission is a contribution of canned or dry goods, or cash, which will be donated to the local food pantry.
