C.A.R.E.S. presents "Temple Grandin" film on
Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
Parents and community members are invited to
attend a special screening of the film, "Temple
Grandin" on Thursday, Sept. 27 in the Van
Antwerp Middle School auditorium. The movie will
begin at 6:30 p.m.
The biopic traces the life of Temple Grandin, an
autistic woman who is a doctor of animal
science, author, and noted for her work in the
livestock industry and advocacy.
This event is sponsored by Nisky C.A.R.E.S., a
group of parents educators, and students who
work collaboratively to create a school culture
that embraces, through greater understanding,
the learning needs of individuals with all
abilities. The movie is free and open to
everyone.
