 Community Role Model Recognition

        sponsored by Youth to Youth

              A role model can be
anyone and can be many different things to different people.
Certainly, it is someone who, over a sustained period of time relative to their presence with us, makes a positive impact on the adults and youth of their  community and often, those in other communities as well.

It isn't something that you earn. Its something that you are and deserve to be recognized for being.

This recognition honors an adult or youth member of the Niskayuna Community who has consistently demonstrated  their belief in the value of young people and has supported efforts by the school district  and community to promote a self, healthy community for all its citizens.

The recipient's personal attributes and their vocational/professional practices and general community efforts serve as examples to be emulated by our young people.
