Inherent throughout the initiatives below is the
continued focus on time –- one of our most
precious and critical resources. The District
theme for the year is “The Time is Now.” Our
district has a number of key needs that need to
be addressed now. Our children cannot wait. The
facilities in which our children learn are
outdated and in need of serious repair. Student
enrollment continues to grow causing class sizes
to rise. The “Time is Now” to work with our
community to gather facts, involve others, and
collaborate to make far-reaching decisions that
benefit all children. The time is now to act to
address these challenges.

shortage of classroom space at the high school
and a growing enrollment).
--A team will explore potential pre-block,
post-block, weekend, evening and other
non-traditional schedules for student course
offerings.

Superintendent and Board of Education by

computer-assisted design and manufacturing, and
other emerging fields.
Facilities/Resources/Personnel: Provide
extensive public information and create
opportunity for dialog and tours of school
facilities in the Fall,
