Construction
preliminary schedule set
(updated
March 2006)
 Planning
for the district's $94.5 million construction project is in full
swing, with construction slated to start in spring 2007.
Construction will be in phases, with
all work scheduled to be completed by 2010. The preliminary schedule
is:
Spring 2007:
Construction begins at Niskayuna High
School, Van Antwerp Middle School, Craig and Glencliff elementary
schools. Classroom technology and digital heating controls also
added districtwide.
Spring 2008:
Construction begins on Hillside and
Rosendale elementary schools.
Fall 2008:
New classrooms and
renovations complete at Craig and Glencliff.
Spring 2009:
Birchwood Elementary
School construction and Iroquois Middle School renovations begin.
Fall 2009:
New classrooms and
renovations complete at Hillside and Rosendale.
Fall 2010:
Birchwood, Iroquois and
high school work complete.
