Reunion Scheduled for Niskayuna Classes of 1970 and 1971
Graduates from Niskayuna High School classes of 1970 and 1971 have scheduled a joint class reunion in recognition and celebration of their 40th high school graduations. All graduates from both classes are invited to attend reunion weekend festivities from October 8-10, 2010. Charlotte Mack and Mark Mindel are the reunion weekend Chairpersons for the class of 1970 and David Ryan for the class of 1971.

Friday, October 8 will be an informal gathering of friends at Waters Edge Restaurant located at Freeman’s Bridge Road in Schenectady. This is a free informal gathering starting at 8 p.m., no reservations necessary.

The 40th Reunion dinner will take place Saturday, October 9 with cocktails, dinner and dancing at the Mohawk Golf Club located at 1849 Union Street in Niskayuna. The cost for dinner is $55 per person. The reunion dinner will be held from 6 p.m. - 12 a.m. All reservations for Saturday night’s dinner need to be received prior to October 1.

Sunday's reunion events include a 5k Walk/Run at Niskayuna High School on the outside track, with the race to start at 10 a.m. All are invited to attend and participate in this free event. Following the race a picnic style barbeque and ice cream social will be held at the Ashes Pub and Grill located 85 Hudson Street in Warrensburg, NY hosted by owner - John Abbale, class of 1970. The cost for the barbeque is $10.

Commemorative tee shirts have been designed for the reunion and are available for purchase in advance of the weekend only for $10. Size requests for the tee shirts need to be placed at time of order.

The price for all events for the reunion is $75 per person. Checks should be made out to the Niskayuna Class Reunion 1970-71 and sent to
Mark Mindel, 18 Gleneagles Boulevard, Ballston Lake, New York 12019 on or before October 1. All questions should be directed to Mark Mindel.
