Annual Professional Performance Review
Adopted in October 2002, the district's Annual
Professional Performance Review Plan is a
consistent review for all teachers across all
subjects and grade levels in the district. The
review was created by teachers and
administrators, and is based on the work of
widely-known and respected educator and
researcher Charlotte Danielson.
Under APPR,
tenured and un-tenured teachers concentrate on
different areas and work with administrators to
set short and long-term goals. All teachers also
create portfolios reflecting their work.
