Annual
Professional Performance Review (APPR)
"Placeholder" Language: New York State law
requires that public school districts adopt APPR
language for the evaluation of teachers and
administrators. Niskayuna is working diligently
with our teachers union and administrative union
to reach agreement on APPR language. We are
making great progress. In the meantime, see the
links below for the "placeholder" language has
been adopted by the Board of Education to meet
the requirements of the law.

Kindergarten:
On December 8, 2010, the Niskayuna Board of
Education approved the implementation of a
full-day kindergarten program beginning in
2011-12. Information pertaining to the
development of a full-day kindergarten program
will be posted here when it becomes available.
