Host families needed for International Scholars Program

Each year, Niskayuna High School welcomes several international students through the International Scholars Program.  Students live with a local host family, spend a full academic year taking classes and learn about American life and culture by immersing themselves in our community.
We’re currently seeking host families for five high school students for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year – one male student from China and four female students from Spain.
Please consider serving as a host family for one of these students.  Hosting an international student can be a tremendously rewarding experience for both the student and the families.  For many, it marks the beginning of friendships that last a lifetime.

For additional information on what serving as a host family includes and involves, please contact the International Scholars Program coordinators Bryan Mattice, bmattice@niskyschools.org, or Kelly Lehmann, klehmann@niskyschools.org, with your interest or questions.
